I absolutely love this store. I could spend hours in here. Wish I had more time. Unfortunately I have congestive heart failure and having to wear a mask shortened my visit. I understand the policy though. Can't wait to go back!

I've frequent a lot of used bookstores in a lot of states but Von's Books has always been my favorite and has a great (and large) selection of titles and genres and great prices. If you've never been, don't miss out out the even larger used bookstore downstairs (accessible through a staircase next to the jewelry part of the shop). Could spend endless hours there and not be bored.

I love Vons Bookstore for its amazing selection. I never know what I'm going to find there, but they have a lot more than books. Maybe next time, I'll look at a few of them🙄. This is a good place to find unique gifts for someone special, particularly jewelry. There won't be anyone following you around or pressuring you to buy something. You can stay for hours. Bring the kids for an educational experience. I found anthracite to use for a science presentation. If you visit the Purdue campus, it will not be a waste of time to explore this wonderful store of gems and treasures and dare I say, needful things🙄. I think you will be in awe.

I literally spent 2 hours in this store just browsing the place. The store is a labyrinth thats just keeps on going and going. Get lost in the selection of books, gems, rocks, jewelry, vinyl records, clothing and much much more. Would 10 out 10 recommend to stop in.

A beautiful colourful store on campus! Love their books and arts collection! I like the variety in the clothes collection! Definitely a fun store to go if you like creative, colourful and artsy stuff!

A very interesting, unique and maybe quirky place? I usually come to browse and purchase some records. They have relatively a lot of records for a non-music-related store. It sells new and used records, but mostly new. So if you have an hour of spare time and don't mind kneeling to browse the used records you might find something of interest.

This was the best store to disappear in for an hour! Books, music, crystals, & oddities—there’s something for everyone. Used books are downstairs too; that rabbit hole was a great treat!

Von’s is a great place to get lost browsing for books! So many great titles… be sure to ask them to take you down to the basement… I promise is it’s not creepy… well maybe a little…but that depends on what you’re into…

I loved going to Von's when I was a grad student at Purdue. So when I was passing through town I had to make a stop. They still have the same eclectic mix of so many things (which is a great thing). It appears they don't carry weekly comic releases (at least not that I saw), but they do have a section of graphic novels. They also had a novel I was looking for in their used book section. If you're in town, stop on by; you won't be disappointed.

I spent my 20's around the area 15 years ago. Von's is one of the few businesses that has not been torn down and turned into a modern business or expensive apartments. They have everything in their shops... New books, used books, vintage clothes, vinyl, jewelry, comics, gift ideas, and more. It's a small business that has survived for decades just a block away from a major university. I recently took my wife and kids to see some of my nostalgia and they are now hooked. I wish I could give it 6 stars. A definite must visit.
